Dogfighters

Description

Just another quick blog quality drawing.
This is the genre that hasn't been done for a while.
Of course, when it comes to arcade-style dogfighting, StarFox is the first thing that comes to anybody's minds. But I actually did some research and it appears that Sony and Microsoft have their exclusive dogfighting titles as well. On the top left corner, you see Warhawk. That game is referenced in Playstation All Stars. On the top right, you see Crimson Skies and Freelancer, both by Microsoft Gaming Studios. However, the Crimson Skies image is in front of the Freelancer image because Crimson Skies was released for Xbox while Freelancer was released for Windows.
So, three things worth discussing on this blog quality image: first off: which team would win in a dogfight? Secondly: which series was the most fun? And thirdly, the dogfighting genre itself.

I have to make this recent addition. All video game fans, especially fans of strategy games, should be familiar with what I am to show you:

Clippy's Monologue:

Very well, then.

New animus data entry…

One of the most primary functions of your ancestors’ tactics is the MOOSEMUSS principles of Warfare.

The First M stands for Mass.

Mass is often measured by numbers and the strength of the equipment.

Apparently, Diddy and Tux both know that Mass is the one thing that they always lack, unless if they find cover in water, which they often do.

That’s why Diddy and Tux would often go from shoulder to shoulder between soldier and soldier.

The second one is what Diddy and Tux often focuses on: Objective, the first O.

Objective is measured by the amount of knowledge, planned tactics, and wisdom which Diddy and Tux appear to be having trouble with a bit. That’s why following orders is important.

Offense is the second O Diddy and Tux practically uses such principle to make up for a complete lack of Mass which is often the one problem Diddy and Tux have. Offense is, in general, dictating your enemy.

That’s why they are assassins: Being assassins is the best and often times the only way they could ever fight.

They actually do it pretty well. Their charm is most certainly unbeatable.

Diddy and Tux are currently working on the first S: Security.

Security is often measured by how well you can keep things a secret.

Because of the knowledge Diddy and Tux received regarding Impossible Creatures, they are now more cautious than ever about their concept of the monguins.

Reading their thoughts about monguins is hard.

Economy of Force is being able to have supply for your troops. Diddy and Tux use this to their advantage as they would often get resourceful enough to use their environment for their tactics, such as pulling down a

Pelican with Enguarde and some ropes.

Besides being exceptionally cute, which describes their Offense tactics, Diddy and Tux also have more physical advantages to make up for the sure lack of armor and weapons they have.

That being said, they know for sure that they are excellent swimmers as the Spartans are horrible swimmers, and they often use this to their advantage.

Such tactic follows the principle of Maneuver.

Maneuver is having more momentum than your enemy.

Maneuver appears to be the common tactic in nearly any character considered to be a platformer character, even the assassins.

According to the general animus database regarding Diddy’s life, one hedgehog had so much of this principle that he rarely needs to follow other principles, and thus he was called by a very popular name on that behalf.

Unity of Command is another cheap one that is often respected by brotherhoods.

Forming alliances and fighting battles together as partners is a good demonstration of Unity of Command. This explains why Tux seems to do better with Diddy than by himself or with some other Assassins. Unity of

Command can also be accomplished by marching in formations and following orders.

Surprise is the principle whose name speaks for it. Weaponizing this principle on a very specific political figure is the very definition of the term, “assassination.”

Simplicity is among the favored tactic of Diddy and Tux.

Tactics are often more efficient if they are kept simple.

The memory will now be loaded…

This is the exact monologue that Clippy Paperclip, an old Microsoft Office Assistant, gave the monguins concerning the 9 principles of warfare, the principles of warfare that has been used in battles in real life history.

One of the major battles that takes place in my fic is the Second battle of Eucadia which ends in a PSN republic victory mostly will focus on the dogfights both in space and lower down in the atmosphere.
I have to ask how does the arwing do in low atmosphere? or is it strictly a starfighter?
