Description

I decided to resubmit my old fan fiction, this time with illustrations to help the reader know where I'm coming from.

Synopsis:

Episode 1.1: Monguin, a sort of a web critic that I hadn't submit any reviews featuring yet, is kidnapped by Aperture Sciences after calling Banjo and Kazooie to deliver to him an Xbox 360 and with it, the first four Assassin's Creed games, not to mention receiving the outfit of who he would later learn would be his ancestor, Diddy Kong. Mickey Monguin, who has been Monguin's running gag, tying everything to the classic Mouse-vs.-Rabbit rivalry, gets kidnapped too because he just so happens to be Monguin's own brother. Gordon Freeman from the Half-Life series surprisingly speaks for the first time ever sounding a bit like Warren Vidic. I guess Black Mesa fired Gordon Freeman so he worked for Aperture Sciences instead. Sharon "Boomer" Valerii, a character from the early naughties version of Battlestar Galactica because, reasons, is that secret admirer of the monguins, which had a heart for them. Clippy Paperclip makes his appearances and becomes the parody of not only himself, but almost every single annoying helper in anything that runs on a microchip, from video games, to GPS, to smartphones.

Tux the Linux Mascot mentions that he always had a respect for Nintendo, as I imagined Linux in real life to have, not to mention his rather humorous rivalry against Microsoft, which reflects his fanbase. Because of both, not to mention his own charms, he was bound to learn of the Rareware fanbase as he finds himself to lay his eyes upon Diddy Kong and observe the Rareware Civil War while assisting Diddy Kong and the other separatists in secret. He is accompanied by a couple of Desmond-era Assassins which question his extremely bizarre sudden interest. His so-called "best friends" that he had between the time which he first became a ninja and the time he met Diddy Kong had been Gabriel Angelos from Warhammer 40K and Altair, the protagonist of the first Assassin's Creed. While most Spartans he fought were worthy opponents as they fought him well, it seemed quite bizarre that most if not all Spartans that ceased fire on Tux bore the Rare Ltd. logo, which he only had vague knowledge of before he was lead by one mysterious Spartan to the Donkey Kong islands, where Angelos conveniently sent him on a mission. Tux follows Diddy wherever he goes, from his "Slappers Only" fight against the dataDyne Shock Troopers to a direct Diddy Kong Racing reference to his rather brief romantic moment with Tiny Kong, and finally, his deep-sea playtime with his oldest friend, Enguarde the Swordfish.

Episode 1.2: Trouble comes as Diddy finds the United Nations Space Command to tread on the DK Island to kidnap his friends, locking them in cages, and carrying them away across the stars. Meanwhile, Diddy opens his gifting treasure chest and finds not only his usual jetpack and peanut popguns, but also an Android smartphone left behind by his friends with everything he needed to learn about Linux. Vengeance stirs between Diddy and Tux at this point as Tux feels the frustration of the Rareware fans which surprisingly have a very similar sense of humor to his own fans and develops their shared hatred towards Microsoft. This is what will eventually get him into trouble. Beaten by the UNSC, Diddy Kong flees his own island to a nearby iceberg to rest.

Episode 1.3 Tux continues onward with his Assassin companions down the Crystal Caves to the crash site of that one ship which King K Rool flew at the very end of Donkey Kong 64 to find a mysterious Piece of Eden at the crash site. While on the journey, Tux takes the deeply annoyed Assassins down the tunnel through some cold waterfalls and other things the Assassins are not used to and demonstrates how much Tux resembles a monkey. Like Altair in the first Assassin's Creed, Tux breaks the three tenants by, killing an innocent Rareware fan and tourist, whistling an echo to lure a Spartan Squad to kill them, thereby, exposing his true nature as a Ninja/Hashashin instead of his charming features, and finally, confronting Alec Trevelyan in the Spartan suit directly before being held by the neck. With these three, he finds his way out of the cave, swims to the same iceberg that Diddy swam to, falls asleep, and gets visited in a dream by Sir Gabriel as Tux has. Relic Entertainment is briefly mentioned at this point, in both Tux's dream and in Diddy's, not to mention Sir Gabriel tells both his story of being a Paladin and where his power came from. When they both wake up the following morning, they at last got to know each other and had their very first conversation. A new friendship has been made.

Episode 1.4 Tux and Diddy have their very first fight against Microsoft together. The outpost is on Timber's Island and its inhabitants are members of the dataDyne Corporation, acting not only as parodies of what Rareware fans make fun of, but also as parodies of what Linux fans make fun of. In other words, their poor representation of Microsoft is sadly only amplified by what's been satirized of Windows such as the Blue Screen of Death and Windows Vista. Fractions of the script for Halo Reach are literally copied and pasted before being edited to fit the story and its continuity, often resulting in pure sarcasm, a reoccurring theme you would notice throughout the rest of my series.

Episode 1.5 Tux asks that Diddy would lead him back to Tanis Base as Tux's own ship left without him. At a restaurant, Diddy attempts to gain help from Fox McCloud and his crew, Captain Falcon, and Samus Aran to get both Tux and himself to the Tanis base, which Fox McCloud only learned about by fighting and chasing his Microsoft rivals, being the Fortune Hunters from Crimson Skies and the Freelancers from Freelancer, whom Diddy and Tux fought outside their cockpits in their Spartan suits. After arguing a few times, they all manage to flee from the Spartans and escape in their own Great Fox with Diddy, Tux, and Enguarde (who Tux placed in one of those animal buddies earlier) all on board. The animus session continues and the monguins have a conversation with Boomer Valerii.
